Delivering my local plan for Cottesloe
I’m a Cottesloe local, and this community is where my husband and I have chosen to run a business and raise our family. My commitment to representing our community stems from a passionate belief in its potential.
I want to ensure that as our community grows, it does so in a way that preserves the character and beauty that makes it unique.
As part of the Mettam Liberal Team, I will deliver real solutions for Cottesloe, driven by the right priorities to build a better future.
Meeting so many locals during this campaign has been a privilege, and your feedback has shaped my local plan.

Many of us are feeling the effects of rising living costs.
Whether it’s through higher energy bills, increased grocery prices, or climbing insurance premiums, as your Liberal candidate, I am committed to addressing these pressures by reducing unnecessary red tape, and scrapping the electricity tax which will keep costs down for consumers.
I will also push to restore funding to charities that support those who are most vulnerable, particularly those who have been overlooked by the current Labor government.
We deserve policies that keep living costs in check without compromising our quality of life.
EASING THE COST-OF-LIVING

Small businesses are the lifeblood of our local economy in Cottesloe.
They enrich our village centres, create jobs, and foster a sense of community. But like many households, small businesses are struggling under the weight of rising costs driven by Labor’s inflationary policies. Since 2017, electricity has increased by 22%, and water by 16%.
As your representative, I will cut unnecessary regulations and reduce taxes and fees to make it easier for small businesses to thrive.
I’ll work to create an environment where entrepreneurship is supported, jobs are created, and our economy remains strong and dynamic.
SUPPORTING SMALL BUSINESS

Cottesloe Beach is an iconic part of our community, and after 40 years without significant investment, it’s time for change.
As your representative, I am committed to revitalising the Cottesloe Foreshore. My plan includes improving accessibility for families, including those with disabilities, and creating a vibrant space for locals and visitors to enjoy. A Mettam Liberal government will boost tourism, increase foot traffic to support local businesses, and ensure that Cottesloe remains a welcoming destination for generations to come. It’s time to invest in the future of our beautiful foreshore, ensuring it stays a cornerstone of our community.
ENHANCING COTTESLOE FORESHORE

The traffic congestion in Cottesloe and the surrounding western suburbs is simply unacceptable.
Commuting should not be a daily frustration. I’m committed to tackling this issue by prioritising road safety, reducing traffic bottlenecks, and improving overall traffic flow.
I’ll advocate for critical infrastructure projects, like the Wellington Street underpass in Mosman Park, and push to alleviate congestion at key problem areas such as Eric Street Bridge and the Victoria Street level crossing.
Under a Mettam Liberal Government, I will work to make commuting safer, faster, and more efficient for all Cottesloe residents.
FIXING TRAFFIC ISSUES

Cottesloe is growing, and while we need thoughtful development, it must respect the unique character of our community.
Labor’s current approach, with a focus on high-rise developments and limited affordable housing, is frustrating for residents who value our local charm.
My vision aligns with that of many residents who want to see vibrant green spaces and enhanced amenities, complemented by high-quality housing options.
With a Mettam Liberal Government, I will ensure that development is balanced, so that our suburbs remain vibrant and welcoming while providing opportunities for future generations.
PLANNING FOR THE FUTURE

Local sporting clubs are a cornerstone of our community, but outdated facilities are holding back participation, particularly for women and young people.
I will fight for upgrades to venues like Allen Park and Davis Oval to ensure they’re accessible and equipped for modern sports needs. This includes improved change rooms and better infrastructure to support year-round use.
By supporting the growth of women’s teams and improving community facilities, we will create spaces where everyone can play, train, and compete in safe, modern facilities. Let’s build a thriving sports culture in Cottesloe for all generations.
